Like all parts on older vehicles, the entire lock mechanism consisting of levers, spikes and springs is subject to wear and tear. The grease on the lock is both dirty and resinified and can no longer perform its task properly. The lock is sent to us, analyzed and – up to now in any case – overhauled. The special switch, all plastic clips and also some springs are replaced as standard; if necessary, replacement mandrels are tumbled in. If a revision is not possible, we will of course let you know.
 In the case of the door lock revision, a new switch (self-developed and "mercilessly" tested) is BASICALLY installed, see door lock repair; the switch is not available separately.
